Carron Energy today (Monday 4 January 2010) has announced an exclusive landmark deal with Netherlands-based OPRA Turbines to act as their sole UK representative.
Commenting on the announcement, Alex Lambie, Chief Executive of Carron Energy said:
“This is an exciting start to an exciting year ahead for Carron Energy.
“I am delighted that Carron Energy will be exclusively representing OPRA Turbines in the UK. This is an important new development for us, and complements our existing business which includes the development of sub-100MW power plants, as well as CER, our global specialist energy recruitment agency.”
“We believe the machine will be ideal for markets such as small CHP, and the mobile design can be utilised for major events where previously groups of diesels would be required. OPRA turbines can run on low-CV fuels (both gas and liquid), making them more environmentally friendly, as well as versatile.”
